Who is Aneal?

Who is Aneal?

I am a writer and creative thinker, who partners with brands to produce content. Born and raised in Richmond Hill, Ontario, I was constantly journaling and writing down the ideas that were flooding through my brain, which is what led me to pursue my undergraduate degree in Communications and English. After receiving my Bachelor’s degree, I continued my education at Florida Atlantic University and received my Masters in Educational Leadership. During my Masters program I was able to mentor and advise the future generation through various leadership programs. This is where my dedication to uplifting and advocating for LGBTQA+ equality was born. This past year, I was selected to serve as the Chair for the Out on Bay St. Conference, the largest LGBTQA+ business conference in the country. The objective of the conference is to inspire and educate recent graduates on how to launch and navigate their career being out and proud.

In 2018, I launched THYRST - a Canadian reality TV podcast which was the first of its kind on a platform filled with true crime and news podcasts. THYRST evolved into creating branded events and experiences for reality TV lovers to connect in-person with their favourite reality TV stars. THYRST landed coverage in print and broadcast on Global News, ET Canada and The Morning Show, which led to a branded content partnership with Hayu Canada. I was then offered the opportunity to join the producing team for Buffer Festival, the largest YouTube Film Festival in the country. As a storyteller, I have produced branded content and entertainment for Marriott International, Canadian Tire and Le Chateau.
